It is strange that many people practise anal sex, yet condemn homosexuality! Isn’t the difference only psychological? Most people are not sexually well-educated, yet they are against so many things related to sex. My understanding is that it does not make much difference whether you are homosexual or heterosexual if you do not make spirituality your inner pilgrimage. Both are stuck at the same level.
Incest is defined as sexual relationship between people who are too closely related to marry each other. To understand incest in its proper perspective, it is imperative to know why nature has bestowed on us sexual characteristics. The prime aim is reproduction for the purpose of propagating species. Next, which is of spiritual nature but known to only a few, it is for the fuelling of the mind so that one can attain the peak of consciousness.
I call this a sign of religious rebellion. The first sign of being truly religious is to be a rebel, a revolutionary – of course not a violent one, but an intellectual and above all a spiritual one. The truly spiritual or religious person is not an orthodox or blind follower of any tradition. He is a seeker, a practitioner and eventually a person who experiences reality.
